This painting was completed in 2019 following my travels around the beaches in the far north of Scotland. The beautiful beach at Ceannabeinne is located on the northern tip of Scotland near to Durness. The incongruous purple line in the painting contains plastics found on the Ceannabeinne beach, plastic that should not be on the beach.
